What's Up Around Here

David is currently in AZ on his "retreat". He had his golf clubs, golf shoes and shorts all ready to go before leaving. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm glad that I went to WA a few weeks ago or I'd be going stir crazy right now. He is coming home Saturday so it will be a nice little get-a-way for him from work. He needed it!

I am now the current owner of a gold's gym membership pass. David got one last year and since he hasn't used it in a LONG time, I decided I could really use it to help me get ready for that marathon I have planned in April. The best part is it has a great daycare that I leave all 4 of my little chicklins at for 1 1/2 hours while I work out! Did it feel good to run today! I have been slacking because it is FREEZING outside and the only time to go is before David goes to work at 6 am. NOT GONNA HAPPEN! So, thank you so much honey for willingly giving up your pass to me!

Alise comes in town tonight. She will just be here for dinner and a short visit. For as much as we see family, I really want our basement to be done! I would LOVE a spare bedroom and bathroom for all of our guests we see throughout the year! I love it when family comes to town!

Wow! A Marathon! That sounds like SO much fun! Us Lee's don't have much speed in us, but I can hold out for a while. When I'm all done with track, Caleb and I want to get into a marathon. You'll have to join us when that time comes. As for now, I'm kinda jealous :)

Thanks for reading my list you did not have to it was a book... I'm glad to have all those little things written down though. So fun to see we have lots in common.

What a fun trip to Washington, I wish I could have been there for the girl's night out, how fun!

Hey I wanted to ask you are you going to the swim event?? I haven't even talked to you about Modbe for so long what are you thinking about it all?

I didn't even know you were training for a marathon a full or a half? Good for you you, that is so awesome! You will love it and all the hard work will be worth it I can't wait to run one when I am finished with this baby.

I have been on the hunt for a really good photographer for a long time here and there.  And I think I found one that did everything I wanted.  First, she comes and looks at the feel of your home.  For us I just sent pictures of our living room where I wanted the pictures placed.  Then she suggests colors to wear and sent pictures back with our room and picture placements she puts on the walls.  And with 5 kids, especially Jenna, you really have to photo shop A LOT!!  Almost every photo with Jenna she had to photo shop.  She did amazing!!  I was so nervous when we went over and viewed our pictures at her house.  As David put it after our photo shoot “She has to be a magician to get anything good out of that!  That was a disaster!”  After looking at our proofs I said, “well, you are a magician!”  And David said after leaving and climbing in our car to go home “That was worth every penny.”  Success! How close have you been to a Prophet?

David, and two other guys he works with, were invited to the Jazz game last Friday night. I have come to find out as a construction wife, to get business, you gotta play A LOT ! Here is a short list, not limited to, of what I mean by "play": Golfing (about 3 times a week-depending on the week and in warm weather of course) Snow skiing (about 2 times a week, again this depends on the week and when there's snow) Fancy dinners (this can also be counted as lunch, which happens more than I know I'm sure!) Executive Retreats (this will be happening in February for about 5 days in AZ, which will have all 5 days full of golfing, guaranteed!!) Jazz games (again, when in season) I don't know about you, but I think I'm in the wrong career!! This house wife things just does not include ANY of those benefits!! TRIALS

We have been preparing for over 4 years for this trial. But nothing, no matter how much you knew it could and most likely would happen, can prepare you when your son's doctor tells you now is the time. "Your son needs open heart surgery." August 24th, 2005, Jason was born in Las Vegas, NV. He was perfect and healthy looking in every way. At his 2 week check up the doctor heard a heart murmur and recommended I take him to the cardiologist. I mentioned that I was flying out to WA in a few days and so I'd probably go when I got back, 3 weeks later. The cardiologist doctor called me the next day after visiting with the pediatrician, asking me to go in to have Jason checked out. It was late and he was willing to stay after hours for us to get there. After an ultra sound of his heart (echo) the cardiologist diagnosed Jason with a very small hole in his heart. Nothing that needed to be fixed right away, unless it started causing problems. So Jason started going every 3 month
