Cameron has graduated!!

Image
Oh what a HAPPY DAY!! Cameron has graduated Kindergarten and is ready to start 1st grade. I cannot believe how fast it has gone the past year. Cameron absolutely LOVED school. He always would ask me what day it was tomorrow when I'd put him to bed at night. When I said he was going to school there was always a "Wahoo!" and when I said there wasn't school it was always "ah, man!" Cameron had an excellent teacher, Mrs. Wilson. She was always so on top of things and sent home every week what was going on in class so the parents could help at home. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. I was a bit apprehensive (to say the least) that Cameron would be way behind when the school year started. Cameron was never in preschool and so it was just me teaching him at home and so I was really worried that he would be behind. Luckily he was right up there with the other kids. Cameron worked really hard and even loved to do his homework. I'm so pro

Come and Gone

Alise left today. We had a fun couple of days together. Yesterday after picking up her car (getting fixed) we went to the park. It was HOT, HOT, HOT!! It would have been another great day for the water park, but Alise had plans with a friend. After the park we went to McDonald's for an ice cream cone...YUMMY!! I got in a 2 hr. nap while Alise was gone visiting-which rarely happens!! It felt so good. Before Alise left we both vacuumed out our vehicles and now we both have clean cars, which always makes me happy! Thanks for the surprise trip down Alise, it was so much fun! David is in California working on a job that's finishing up there. The plans were to come home today, but it won't be until tomorrow. If he gets home in time then he will be going on a scout camp out with his deacons. Is it bad to want him to get home a little later so he can be home with us and not on the campout?! Our family is looking forward to going to Wa. for a Lee Reunion! We are so excit

My TRUE color?

Image
What's Your True Color? My Result: Yellow You're yellow , the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you! What are you? http://web.tickle.com/jumpto?test=colorogt&c=50652 I don't know how true this is about me, but it sounds nice anyway!

Water Park FUN!!

Image
My sister, Alise came down for a surprise visit from Rexburg, ID yesterday. She came ready for a fun filled couple of days. After lunch today we went to the Oquirrh Park rec. center where they have a great water park about 10 mins. from our house. The kids LOVED it! When we got out of the car, the first thing that the kids saw was the big bucket of water dump down on a bunch of kids. Jason said, "I'm scared!" After carrying him over to the water he warmed up to it really quickly and was a fish after that. I was so glad. He is a lot more timid than the older ones and more shy. I'm happy that he enjoyed himself and played. That will make it even more fun the next time! We never saw too much of Cameron and Melanie. Cameron was up the stairs to the slide and down the slide, and all over again. Melanie was busy doing what she does best, pretending to be a dog or cat...only this time in the water! I tell ya, if she could be anything other than a person she'

CORRECTION!!

Okay, so after David reading the movie post...I got the name wrong! So I guess that "The Love Guru" isn't even out yet and the movie that they went to see and walked out on was "You Don't Mess With The Zohan". So, sorry for any misleading that might have happened. Obviously I was still half asleep when he was talking about it that night!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!! We Love You!

If I would have known 10 years ago that my kids would be calling David Lee "daddy", I would have laughed out loud!! We hardly even talked to one another in High School. I do remember secret crushes for David (but what other girl didn't?) but was too shy to even talk to him! Oh have times changed! I am so grateful and feel so fortunate to have married David. He makes me so happy and the kids just adore Him. He is everything I could have expected from a great husband and more. He always puts his family first and foremost, which is a lot of the reason why we are in Utah now. He was taught great values, has an awesome work ethic (too good sometimes) and is the kind of employee every employer hopes to have. I think the first time David's true colors shown through to me was when David owned his own cabinet business while at BYU. David, through the trials of being a business owner always made sure that he followed through with what he promised. He gave a 110% to eve

Disappointment--Surprise?!

David went to a late night show last night with 4 other guys. They usually do this really late at night so that they can still see their families and still see a movie every now and again. Last night was no exception. The movie they went to watch was "The Love Guru" at 10:30 pm. I fell asleep on the couch (no surprise) and was still there when David got home by midnight. I guess that they left half way through the movie it was so bad!! It's too bad that they had to take a really funny plot and then think to make it even more funny (or not) they have to throw all of the other garbage in with it! Maybe the movie selection will be a little more looked into the next time!? So I guess the reason for this post is this- "The Love Guru" is not a family friendly movie and to go at your own risk!!

IT'S THE WEEKEND!!

It has been a great weekend for our family. We haven't done anything too exciting to talk about, but here it is anyway... This morning David reminded me that he had 2 softball games, a double header. I like David to play ball, but he already plays it twice a week with 2 different teams and this one today is the team that isn't good at all. And David is gone so much with work and has a lot of late nights, I look forward to the weekends! I of course asked if he had to go or if he could stay home. So later he told me he had canceled the game so that he could be home with us. I then felt somewhat guilty about it until I found out that there wasn't enough guys to make a team anyway. Yeah!! So David got to do my "honey do-list". He changed 5 underground sprinklers that were buried to deep (and about that many more to go). Now if you're feeling bad that David had to work on my list and not play ball-don't! He was more than happy to do it because he wen
