10 YEARS!

June 23rd we celebrated our Anniversary. Wow! A lot has happened in 10 years and sometimes it feels like 10 and sometimes it doesn't. But I can say that spending time with David never gets old! I love to be with him!! We had such a great date. We went and got a couples massage and then went to dinner at the Melting Pot in downtown Salt Lake. We had never been there before and it was the perfect choice! Fondue yummy goodness!! Then we went to the movie and watched X-Men. It was really good! I cannot wait to see what happens in the next 10 years. Instead of having babies we will be raising our children from kids to teenagers! Scary!! I am excited for it though and I think it will be a fun stage! Friday I applied for my very first passport. I can't wait to get the first stamp on that thing soon! I am really looking forward to traveling with David and also with the kids. We hope to go on an anniversary trip in a couple of months. Hopefully it all works out. We ha

Alyssa turned 4 on the 20th.  Oh my goodness where is the time going?  The Young Women had a silent auction to earn money to girls camp and among one of the things we bought was a birthday planner.  Kaylee (also one of our babysitters) came and helped plan, put together the invitations, was here to assist at the party and she did awesome!  This is the invitation she created with her mom: Monday I got a babysitter and took Alyssa out to lunch to Red Robin.  Then we headed over to the mall and went to Build-A-Bear.  She picked out a kitty and had so much fun picking out an outfit.  Just like what she would have worn if they were for her!  Then we went over to Claire’s and she picked out a new pink purse, lip gloss and a hair brush.  She was feeling so good by this point!  Then we went to Children’s Place and she got a new birthday outfit.  It was a fun afternoon!  She also got to open one present that night.  It was a matching dress for her and her American Girl Doll.  Tuesday was he

Father's Day

Saturday late morning David said he wanted to go to St. George for Father's Day. So I quickly packed, David went to get new tires on the van (front ones), we went to Cameron's first basketball game and then left. We got to St. George at 8:30 pm. We enjoyed eating out in Chuck and Carol's new backyard. It is all finished, landscaped and so uptown with an outside fireplace, bbq and outdoor kitchen. Quite the fun setup! I made breakfast in bed for the guys and enjoyed a relaxing morning. Church was at 1:00. I did feel bad that the kids didn't get to sing to David at church. Jason wanted to go up but none of the other kids would go up with him. He was super bummed. We headed home that night at 8:30 after a delicious dinner and a stroll around the block. It was a very quick trip but we are glad we can make it in 1/2 a day! I was in such a hurry I forgot my camera! I really wanted a picture of David and his dad.

End of School Party!

This was our first year that we have taken the kids to the school carnival.  It was so much fun!  The kids had a blast running from one thing to the next.  It was so fun to socialize also.  There were so many people from our ward to talk to.  Chuck and Carol were in town for the weekend and they watched Jenna at our house while we walked over to the school and played.  Alyssa’s favorite ride was this shark slide.  She absolutely LOVED it!      Cameron and Jason’s favorite was this wrestling mat thing.  The second time around Cameron got a little more aggressive and knock down Jason before he was ready.  He wasn’t happy about that and so after that they found their friends that were their sizes to fight. Jason fighting his friend Boyd Melanie fighting her friend Mira. Melanie was the only one who tried the rock climbing wall.  She made it half way up.  I think she liked all of the stuff there.  And as you can see they had a very goofy fun time!
