Our Wonderfully Crazy Life!

Image
Yesterday was an example of just how crazy busy our life is right now.  I guess it didn't start Saturday morning, but Friday night.  David was just put into the Young Men's presidency (he is going on 9 years of YM's) over the Deacons and there was a Campout scheduled for this weekend.  It is actually really nice to have him in there with Cameron now!  So while they left on their Campout to Strawberry Reservoir, I took Jason to a friend's birthday party.  There also was a father-daughter activity for Melanie. Unfortunately for her, I was the alternate for Dad. She was disappointed. She was the only one without her dad there. I felt bad but the only other option was to not go and she didn't want to miss!  With all my babysitters gone I had to find someone to watch Alyssa and Jenna.  Rare thing these days! Saturday morning we had 3 different sporting events in 3 different cities. We were all out the door before 9 am Melanie in her soccer uniform, Jason in his football

The CrAzY Minions

Alyssa has enjoyed a few games of soccer.  She misses every game on Wednesday because it runs the same time as gymnastics but she loves to play Saturdays!  Unfortunately she will only play about 4 games due to gymnastics being the same time.  Her team name is the “Crazy Minions”.  The coach’s wife is awesome and went all out and made each of the players a Minion hat.  The girls LOVED it!

A Special Bond

Jenna is really starting to LOVE being with Olaf.  She is getting more comfortable around him and isn’t scared to be with him anymore on her own.  One day I was painting a dresser for the babies room and the garage door was open.  Olaf kept coming in so I put him in his pen.  Jenna decide  he was sad in there and so she wanted to sit in there with him.  It really helped me out!  They kept each other entertained!

End of Summer Pictures

This girl stepped up her game in gymnastics for the summer.  She moved up to level 2 and went 2 days a week for 3 hours each day.  She worked her booty off and by the end was a tired, hot, sweaty mess!  She has sure improved the last 3 months though! Took these boys out school shopping at the Outlet Mall in Lehi where their biggest priority were shoes at the Nike store.  We went to dinner at Johnny Rockets after!  Boys are soooo much easier to shop with! I finished Jason’s quilt!  He threw away his old one I made 8 years ago that was falling apart!  He loves it! Alyssa had a BBQ/swim party for her gymnastics team.  She played in the sand until we could go swimming! Olaf!  This dog sure missed his Dad while he was gone to the Philippines for 2 weeks!  He licked him and licked him all over his face for 5 minutes!   The girls put Oly in a box and I have about 25 pictures of him on my phone in that thing!  He is not short of any love and attention around here. Jenna Starts Preschool

Image
This girl had the BEST time at Preschool.  All she could talk about was when it was her turn to go to school when the kids left on their first day.  She has waited 2 long weeks!  I love having her home with me.  She is so sweet and helpful but she loves her time away to learn and play with friends and feel big!  She loves her new Preschool, The Kinder Garden.  She will have a great year here!
