January Happenings

Image
I apologize for all the bad pictures!  They were taken on my phone camera!  January has been COLD, bitterly cold!  We have been in the negatives for the most part so far in the mornings with high’s at 10 degrees!  Makes us want to stay inside wrapped in a blanket!  Which is exactly what we all did for most of it because our house came down with the awful flu that has been going around!  Chills, headaches, fevers, body aches and a terrible dry throat with a cough!  So glad to be on the mend from that, finally!  On New Year’s Day just us girls went out.  I took my Dayquil medicine and felt pretty good while we were gone.  8 days staying at home with sickies makes you want OUT!  We got lunch at CafĂ© Rio (love that my girls are liking more than just McDonald’s now!) and then hit the mall for some fun shopping.  Jenna got to spend her birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa McGary and bought her first Build-A-Bear!  She loved it!  She named her “Rainbow”. I wish I could say that the beginning of 2013 looked up from that night on but here it is the 5th and I am still on the mend from this flu!  Last night was the first night I didn’t wake up every hour.  It has been horrible!  I am considering those flu shots next year!! But, I have been thinking about my goals for 2013.  I love setting goals.  I didn’t always.  Goals are meant to stretch and grow but they can also be frustrating if you
