Pictures of our home

Image
Front: Family Room: Kitchen: Master Bath: Guest Room, but for the moment my sewing room: Office, which is why I don’t blog or do much of anything that requires a computer.  Still haven’t decided on office furniture that we like in our price range.  I think we are going to have to settle. Boys’ Room: So much more to do!  I can’t believe how much it costs just to decorate a room!  It is fun, but will take time.  We still love our home!

Murder Mystery Party

Image
We are having such a blast in our new ward and neighborhood!  Saturday night we went to a Murder Mystery party.  We each went in our character’s.  I was Lizzie and it was my engagement party (hence the rock on my finger!) and David was Hannibal Schecter.  He was a cannibal.  Oh it was so much fun and just hilarious!

Silly Times

Sometimes you got to change things up and go back in time…to diaper days!

Sweet Reunion

Image
One week after we moved in to our new house, David left to the Philippines for 2 weeks.  It was very stressful that week.  Kids started school and I was overwhelmed with all the new homework, unpacking and cleaning.  One day I felt like I would make some head way and the next day it felt like I was 2 days behind again on the unpacking.  David got home around 9 pm every night and he was no help on much at home.  So when he left it was not the relaxing, enjoy each other before leaving like we usually have.  It was the worst timing and I will not choose to do it again that way!   This is what David brought home to the kids.  They were just as excited as I was to see dad home, finally!  The girls got purses with an animal on the side and the boys got frog bags.  They loved them of course!  I love how the kids are totally surrounding their daddy!!

3 weeks in...

I LOVE SPRINGVILLE!! I really do. I love the small town feel, that the 4 way stops aren't perfectly lined up at all, that I have to travel 20 minutes to go shopping, that the school is super small (which I was a little bummed about at first), the people who live in our neighborhood are so down to earth and awesome (even though they have a lot of money), that ALL of my neighbors are members, that we live right next to nature and the mountains, my house (LOVE IT!), so many things. I am really thankful that Heavenly Father new exactly what I was looking for when I didn't know if it existed in Utah. I am completely at peace with our new endeavor here and hope we can stay a long time.

Lavender Farm Fieldtrip

Image
Alyssa is enrolled in this awesome Preschool.  I am so happy I was able to get her in so she could meet new friends.  The teacher is in our ward and was full with 12 students but let Alyssa come anyway.  This was their first fieldtrip.  We drove south past Santaquin to the Lavender Farm.  It really is out in the middle of no where!  Mrs. Laura is the one standing up in the blue sweatshirt.  She is hilarious! We went on a ride to tour the farm.  These were some of the animals they had there.  We also looked at all of the bridles and things that the horses wore.  They pull all of their farm equipment with the horses.  They don’t use tractors. It was a lot of fun and Alyssa LOVED it!  All she could talk about before going was her fieldtrip and all she could talk about after was how great it was.  It was cute!

Hobble Creek Canyon

Image
We live less than 5 minutes from Hobble Creek Canyon.  There is a bike path that leads into the canyon just 1/4 mile from our home.  I am so excited!  The kids got out of school early Wednesday and we drove up to the canyon.  We didn’t really do a hike like we wanted but we did some exploring. It will be such a fun place for our family to camp in the summer.  I can’t wait!!
