FUN NIGHT-

What a fun night! Melanie and I went out just her and I. I am in charge of our Super Saturday's craft night for church and I am showing how to make beaded watches. Which are so fun and addicting by the way! I bought Melanie a watch face and so we went down to "The Bead Fairy" and bought all sorts of fun beads for her bracelet part. Melanie LOVED it! She felt so special and was so excited.

When we left at 6:15, Cameron had his swimsuit on in hopes of going in the hot tub that I had just cleaned. I left that up to David. When we got back at 8, Cameron was still in his swimsuit, still waiting to go. So the rest of them got their swimsuits on and went hot tubing for 15 mins. I wouldn't let Alyssa get in because I was not going in and wasn't going to freeze watching her. So maybe tomorrow when it's warm. They loved it. When I went out with the towels to wrap them up I realized something and I freaked out! I totally forgot about Jason having tubes in his ears and didn't cover them!!! He is really timid about the water and his hair wasn't wet. But I'm sure water got in!! Time will tell? I felt horrible!!
After getting the kids in bed, Melanie got to stay up to make her watch. It was so fun to make that with her. She kept saying how fun it was. When Jason kept trying to come down she was adamant that he had to be in bed. It was her time! She loved how it turned out and I was excited about it also. Who cares that she can't tell time! She has a cute watch!!
The pictures are not good quality on my camera, but it is adorable. There are silver flowers and butterfly beads as well as pink and white and silver balls. I love that Melanie is getting older and is getting in to things that I like to do.
I LOVE HAVING DAUGHTERS!!

How fun. It would be fun to have a daughter. That might mean I would have to get crafty though. :) I love those bracelets and should learn to make a few new bands for myself. Love the Vampire pics too!

I have been on the hunt for a really good photographer for a long time here and there.  And I think I found one that did everything I wanted.  First, she comes and looks at the feel of your home.  For us I just sent pictures of our living room where I wanted the pictures placed.  Then she suggests colors to wear and sent pictures back with our room and picture placements she puts on the walls.  And with 5 kids, especially Jenna, you really have to photo shop A LOT!!  Almost every photo with Jenna she had to photo shop.  She did amazing!!  I was so nervous when we went over and viewed our pictures at her house.  As David put it after our photo shoot “She has to be a magician to get anything good out of that!  That was a disaster!”  After looking at our proofs I said, “well, you are a magician!”  And David said after leaving and climbing in our car to go home “That was worth every penny.”  Success! How close have you been to a Prophet?

David, and two other guys he works with, were invited to the Jazz game last Friday night. I have come to find out as a construction wife, to get business, you gotta play A LOT ! Here is a short list, not limited to, of what I mean by "play": Golfing (about 3 times a week-depending on the week and in warm weather of course) Snow skiing (about 2 times a week, again this depends on the week and when there's snow) Fancy dinners (this can also be counted as lunch, which happens more than I know I'm sure!) Executive Retreats (this will be happening in February for about 5 days in AZ, which will have all 5 days full of golfing, guaranteed!!) Jazz games (again, when in season) I don't know about you, but I think I'm in the wrong career!! This house wife things just does not include ANY of those benefits!! TRIALS

We have been preparing for over 4 years for this trial. But nothing, no matter how much you knew it could and most likely would happen, can prepare you when your son's doctor tells you now is the time. "Your son needs open heart surgery." August 24th, 2005, Jason was born in Las Vegas, NV. He was perfect and healthy looking in every way. At his 2 week check up the doctor heard a heart murmur and recommended I take him to the cardiologist. I mentioned that I was flying out to WA in a few days and so I'd probably go when I got back, 3 weeks later. The cardiologist doctor called me the next day after visiting with the pediatrician, asking me to go in to have Jason checked out. It was late and he was willing to stay after hours for us to get there. After an ultra sound of his heart (echo) the cardiologist diagnosed Jason with a very small hole in his heart. Nothing that needed to be fixed right away, unless it started causing problems. So Jason started going every 3 month
