Pregnancy So Far

I don’t mean to be a complainer but this pregnancy thing is over rated!  Maybe because I have done this so many times the excitement of each new thing is gone.  I am really in that “fat” stage.  Nothing is really fitting except for big shirts.  My pants are all to tight and the belly is starting to get in the way at the gym.  BUT other than that I have no complaints.  I have been super blessed with not being sick and still being able to go to the gym and performing well.  The baby has been moving around and I have been able to feel him/her moving a bit.  It will be fun for the kids to feel the baby kicking in my belly in a few more months.  With David being gone to the Philippines I had to move my Ultrasound back a weekSad smile .  So in 2 weeks we find out if this baby is a “he” or a “she”.  I might be going back and deleting this after the ultrasound if it is not a boy but we are ALL hoping for a boy!  Even the girls want a little brother.  I want no more drama than I already have in the house!  3 girls is enough for me and it will have been 9 years since I had a little baby boy around here and I am ready!  Whatever this child is I know he/she is persistent and patient!!

I haven't been pregnant six times just five but I have felt that way this time. Except for feeling good because I am far from that but the excitement for each stage is different from round one😊. I was excited to feel baby but other than that, I just want the baby in my arms😊

I have been on the hunt for a really good photographer for a long time here and there.  And I think I found one that did everything I wanted.  First, she comes and looks at the feel of your home.  For us I just sent pictures of our living room where I wanted the pictures placed.  Then she suggests colors to wear and sent pictures back with our room and picture placements she puts on the walls.  And with 5 kids, especially Jenna, you really have to photo shop A LOT!!  Almost every photo with Jenna she had to photo shop.  She did amazing!!  I was so nervous when we went over and viewed our pictures at her house.  As David put it after our photo shoot “She has to be a magician to get anything good out of that!  That was a disaster!”  After looking at our proofs I said, “well, you are a magician!”  And David said after leaving and climbing in our car to go home “That was worth every penny.”  Success! How close have you been to a Prophet?

David, and two other guys he works with, were invited to the Jazz game last Friday night. I have come to find out as a construction wife, to get business, you gotta play A LOT ! Here is a short list, not limited to, of what I mean by "play": Golfing (about 3 times a week-depending on the week and in warm weather of course) Snow skiing (about 2 times a week, again this depends on the week and when there's snow) Fancy dinners (this can also be counted as lunch, which happens more than I know I'm sure!) Executive Retreats (this will be happening in February for about 5 days in AZ, which will have all 5 days full of golfing, guaranteed!!) Jazz games (again, when in season) I don't know about you, but I think I'm in the wrong career!! This house wife things just does not include ANY of those benefits!! TRIALS

We have been preparing for over 4 years for this trial. But nothing, no matter how much you knew it could and most likely would happen, can prepare you when your son's doctor tells you now is the time. "Your son needs open heart surgery." August 24th, 2005, Jason was born in Las Vegas, NV. He was perfect and healthy looking in every way. At his 2 week check up the doctor heard a heart murmur and recommended I take him to the cardiologist. I mentioned that I was flying out to WA in a few days and so I'd probably go when I got back, 3 weeks later. The cardiologist doctor called me the next day after visiting with the pediatrician, asking me to go in to have Jason checked out. It was late and he was willing to stay after hours for us to get there. After an ultra sound of his heart (echo) the cardiologist diagnosed Jason with a very small hole in his heart. Nothing that needed to be fixed right away, unless it started causing problems. So Jason started going every 3 month
