Our Forever Family

We had a fancy dinner Christmas Eve, went to our first Festival of Lights Show and then opened our annual Christmas Pajamas from Grandpa and Grandma Lee!  The girls got a dress for their dolls.  Grandma Lee made Melanie’s doll dress which was really special!  The kids could hardly go to sleep that night they were so excited.  I think I heard Santa Clause around 2 am finally making his way here!

We braved the crowds and the cold and drove to SLC to see the lights on Temple Square.  Worth the sacrifice, every minute of it!  What a beautiful place, beautiful spirit and the best company!  Boston is quite the car seat baby and slept the whole time!  I was glad because I didn’t want him to be outside in the cold.

Holidays brings out games and neighbor treats!  We love creating traditions!! 

 

Alyssa was practicing the piano and singing in Chinese!  I LOVED HEARING THIS!!!  She had learned “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” at school and was practicing that song for the week on the piano.  Gets my all excited to see the progress she is making in both of these!

David and Jenna share the only birthday in the same month!  David got a brand new desk for his office and Jenna celebrated with friends at Chuck E Cheese (her first friend party!) David got a cheesecake from the Cheese Cake Factory.  Jenna and Boston were asleep already so they did not get a picture.  Jenna has watched a lot of the Disney channel and knew she wanted a birthday at Chuck E Cheese!  And it did not disappoint.  We went while the other kids were at school and Boston slept the whole time in his car seat.  It worked out perfect!  They had the whole place to themselves!  She invited Creed Condie, Warner Bond, Madalyn Oman and Devri Call.  She got to do all the things like in the commercial on t.v.  She loved it! Turning 5 is way cooler and more fun then turning  36!  HA!
