Baseball Season

Jason’s last year of coach pitch.  He did awesome, always taking the game seriously and had his sights on a home run every time he got up to bat.  He is excited to play “real” ball next year where there is a winner and a loser.

Lucky #7!

This cutie turned 7 on Friday!  She has been counting down the days since before school got out!  We had a great day celebrating HER at Trafalga Fun Center in Lehi.  Then we headed up to Chuck-a-Rama and ate dinner before dropping off Grandma McGary at the airport!  That night Alyssa got to open her presents and Saturday she got to go out on a date with Dad!  They went to lunch at Chik-Fil-A, shopped at the mall with her birthday money and just had so much fun being together!

Youth Conference Temple Trek

David and I had the most amazing experience this past week going on a Youth Temple Trek visiting 4 of the pioneer Temples.  We went to Logan, Salt Lake, St. George and Manti all in 3 days!  The planning was flawless and everything was perfect!  Our ward chartered 2 buses.  We were split into 8 “families” and David and I were over 8 kids in our family.  Day 1:   We drove to Logan and ate lunch that we all brought from home.  It rained the whole day!  Luckily the park we ate at had a pavilion.  Then while we waited to go to the temple we played this fun game on the bus.  It got pretty animated!  Then we met a member of the Temple Presidency in the baptistery of the temple.  Then our group went and toured the Logan Tabernacle just down the road from the temple.  Then we switched the other group and did baptisms.  Then we headed towards SLC, stopping in Centerville where the food committee had dinner ready and waiting fo...

Father’s Day

Jenna was especially excited to wrap her present for Daddy.  She asked for me to help her wrap this notebook she found in the cupboard.  It was so Dad could “write letters”.  It was so cute! Melanie wrote a cute note to dad and looked on the computer how to write “I love you” in Spanish. Dad’s big present was a hammock.  The house we are buying backs up to a farm and the mountains and it is so relaxing back there!  I think he will really enjoy it! We love our Dad so much!  I don’t know what we would do without him!  He is a hard worker and provider for our family, really makes an effort to be with the kids and take them out on one-on-one dates and attend all their activities.  We sure love our dad!
