Cameron’s 3rd Grade Field Trip
Cameron’s class went to the Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City for their field trip this year. It was cold and muddy but fun. It poured the day before and the trails were a muddy mess. We were slipping all over the place in some spots! We went with another 3rd grade class and we were split up into 4 different groups touring the gardens.
The three boys I was in charge of: Ben, Kenneth, Cameron ready to leave the school.
We started out in the gardens with paved trails. Then we got to the real stuff. I have been training for a marathon and that morning I did interval training with lots of stadium stairs. My legs were dying when we got done hiking!
Over looking the rushing water that was really high because of all the snow and rain we had gotten.
We saw this little squirrel running around. He didn’t mind everyone watching. He was used to visitors!
Look at the water! It comes to the top of the bridge!

Afterwards we went to Liberty Park in Salt Lake City and ate our lunches and the kids played on the playground. It was SOOOO cold! I didn’t warm back up for the rest of the day!
Once again grateful for awesome neighbors who watched the younger 3 kids so I could go with Cameron. He was so happy I went!
