"I'M GONNA BE A...

AND I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!"
December 31, 2009 we will be a family of 7. Now that's weird to think because that's how many plates I used to set at my parents house when I lived at home, crazy!! We are excited, the older 2 especially. They can understand a lot more and so this is all fun for them. Not so fun for me is the ALL day sickness. Hopefully that will be over soon and I can enjoy the rest of summer. We have a different insurance with this one and so I'm lovin' the fact that the dr. and hospital are 5 mins. away!! That will be so nice and hopefully the kids will be able to make more quick trips to see the new baby when it's born. They did an ultra sound at my dr. visit today. I've never had one this early and they got a real good close up one. You can see the head, body, arms, legs and even the yolk sac that's still feeding baby. That was fun to do. I'm almost 10 weeks along and will be glad to have the first trimester behind me. I have loved having 4 kids and can see why a lot of people stop at 4. It was VERY tempting!! But we are excited to have a new baby in the house and feel very blessed!!

We are so exited also. When you start to feel better we really want to find a place half way to go camping with you guys. If your up for sometime. We can't wait to see how summer goes. And Alisa is so cute she has such a fun personality:)

Congratulations....I wondered a few posts back when you talked about not feeling well and Melanie taking care of you. You have such darling kids I can't wait to see another. Hope you feel better soon.

David, and two other guys he works with, were invited to the Jazz game last Friday night. I have come to find out as a construction wife, to get business, you gotta play A LOT ! Our New Family Pictures

I have been on the hunt for a really good photographer for a long time here and there.  And I think I found one that did everything I wanted.  First, she comes and looks at the feel of your home.  For us I just sent pictures of our living room where I wanted the pictures placed.  Then she suggests colors to wear and sent pictures back with our room and picture placements she puts on the walls.  And with 5 kids, especially Jenna, you really have to photo shop A LOT!!  Almost every photo with Jenna she had to photo shop.  She did amazing!!  I was so nervous when we went over and viewed our pictures at her house.  As David put it after our photo shoot “She has to be a magician to get anything good out of that!  That was a disaster!”  After looking at our proofs I said, “well, you are a magician!”  And David said after leaving and climbing in our car to go home “That was worth every penny.”  Success! Melanie’s Calling in Life

Two Days ago Melanie was getting ready to go out the door.  She had her coat and was looking for her other jacket.  I asked her why she needed it when she already had her coat on.  She said she was going to take it to her friend at school, Humana, because she wears 3 jackets and doesn’t have a coat.  5 minutes later Melanie asked me “Mom, can we buy Humana a coat?”  I had already been thinking about that but told Melanie I would look while I was out to see if I could find one.  I went to 3 different stores to look!  Winter coats in that size are hard to find these days!  But I finally found something at Walmart and got gloves and a hat.  My friend, Angela, who drove carpool that morning called me while I was out looking.  She called worried because Melanie had said on the way to school that her friend didn’t have a coat and was sleeping on the floor.  I told her I knew about the coat and was getting one but Melanie hadn’t mentioned ...
