Vacation to WA

Image
David met me in WA Saturday night when I got back from girls weekend.  He drove 12 hours with all the kids, packed and got them all ready!  What a guy!!  We love to go to WA!  We love playing with our cousins and playing with Grandpa’s and Grandma’s!  We make a lot of memories every time we go!  We stayed with Melissa 2 days.  We went to Connell ward and swam all day Monday.  What a blast!  The kids REALLY want a pool now!  I love that there are so many cousins each of the kids’ ages.  No one is left out and someone always to play with!  Makes me so grateful for families!  So blessed to be a part of 2 great ones!! Tuesday we played at my parent’s house.  Trisha came out with her kids, Alise was there and Tyson’s 3 kids were visiting and they came out that day.  We made a water blob, slip n’ slide, went water skiing and watched “Hotel Transylvania” outside.  Such a fun day outside!  We love summer!! ...

Girls Weekend in Lincoln City, OR

Image
The last weekend of June we had our annual girls weekend in Lincoln City, OR.  It was absolutely perfect!  We rented a beautiful condo that overlooked the ocean.  It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a hideway bed on the couch.  This year everyone but Becky was able to go so we invited Grandma Floyd to come along with us!  We had a blast!!!  Between the outlet malls, the chocolate shops and the beach, there was never a dull moment!  We made a puzzle, watched a movie one night, sat in the hot tub and chatted and watched the sun set one night, got pedicures and manicures, shopped and shopped, collected seashells, found a starfish (the only one we ever saw!), went to 3 different chocolate stores and ate sinfully delicious caramel apples and chocolate, ran and walked up and down the beach and had great company the whole time!  It was a weekend to remember!  The weather was perfect also for the Oregon beach.  We cannot wait to go back!  On...

“It’s Business Time”- Ragnar 2013

Image
I got the opportunity to run in Ragnar this year.  What an experience!  I LOVED it and I would definitely do it again!  So many fun memories to keep us laughing.  And with this van load we had plenty of laughs!!  I ran the 6th leg and so I ran legs 6, 18 and 30.  I ran a total of a little more than 17 miles.  My legs were definitely not all the way healed up after the 1/2 marathon the week before.  By the last leg they were gone and I had to walk/jog the whole thing.  Luckily it was only 2 miles.  I was happy with how I did on my other runs all things considered!  My 2 cousins, Mike and Brian ran, Brian’s wife Candace and her sister Lynise and husband Mark.  Mark started us out at 6 am.  It was a chilly morning!  We slept in a hotel in Ogden, woke up at 4:15 to be at the start by 5.  Mark was easy to spot on the road with his Dr. Seuss hat and his fast shuffle run!  Mike started running just a couple months ...
