Tough Mudder
Last Saturday David participated in the Tough Mudder with his co-workers Andy, Alex and Alex’s cousin (I don’t know his name). It was COLD!! They started at 10 AM and finished at 2 pm. Tough Mudder is a 10 mile course with a lot of different obstacle courses along the way. It is not a race to see who is fastest as much as it is to just finish. And they all have to work as a team. They started out in a cow pasture. David said the ground was very uneven and so his ankles and knees hurt from that. Also by mile 7 he said he felt like he was running on cement since his shoes were caked in mud. Some of the obstacles included swimming across a large industrial size garbage can full of ice and water, crawling on your belly under electrical barbed wire. There were 3 of those throughout the coarse. He said it was a pretty strong shock! And a few pictures show some more of the course. David said he liked doing it. I don’t think he loved it though! He is so happy however to be in as good of shape as he is and to do a tough course such as this. Good job Babe!!!
