Jenna’s 3rd Birthday

Image
My baby keeps growing and I can’t seem to slow down time!  This little girl brings me so much JOY into my life.  Couldn’t imagine my life with out her!  Melanie painted her face with Jenna’s play makeup to look like a fairy.  By the end of the day it just looked like a bad birth mark!  She got to play with her friend and neighbor, Mia for a couple of hours.  She loves to play with friends. Tony, Megan and Rocky came over and celebrated the fun with us.  We had lots of leftovers so we had that and I made rolls for ham/roll sandwiches.  Melanie made a special birthday sign for Jenna that she put on her chair.  It said “Jenna Happy Birthday”   After dinner we sang “Happy Birthday” and Jenna opened her presents.  She got this rocking horse that neighs and moves it’s tail.  She loves it!  She also got a dog.  She loves animals like Melanie does.  Grandma and Grandpa Lee gave her a Rapunzel doll with the horse Maxim...

Christmas Morning

I love Christmas time!!!  I love that I have children to see the “magic” in their eyes and excitement on their faces.  It truly is more fun to give than to receive!  It was a long, late night for David and I.  We went to bed at 2 AM.  I was up at 4:30 AM with Jason who had a bloody nose and then at 5:30 to give Cameron some Ibuprofen.  The boys have been sick for several days.  Luckily it didn’t affect them to much Christmas day!  We were all up by 7:20.  The kids were so excited.  I think they were awake in their rooms for a while before I gave the ok to come down!  This is what Santa brought the kids… Jason got an electric motor scooter.  There is to much snow outside to use it but he is excited about it!  He also got a football, model airplane and a puzzle in his stocking.   David got a tie in his stocking Cameron got an Ipod Touch from Santa.  I think he had given up hope that he was actually going to ge...

Christmas Eve

Image
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus came to visit us again this year!  They must be good for Santa to stop at our house!  Jenna is just smitten by Santa Claus!  Alyssa on the other hand has her own plans of getting presents from the big man, from a distance! After our Christmas Eve dinner of Soup and garlic bread we reenacted the Christmas story of Jesus’ birth.  The kids were fighting over who was going to be who so I had them pick from a jar their parts.  Luckily they were all happy with who they got!  Jenna was our little Mary, Cameron was Joseph, Jason was the Shephard, Alyssa was an Angel and Melanie was a Wiseman who brought gifts of a flashlight, trophy and a seashell. The last thing for the night was to open the traditional gifts of PJ’s and a book.  This year Grandma and Grandpa Lee made a special Family Reunion Book with a personal message on the inside cover.  Their own picture was also attatched.  The kids were so surprised to see this...
